Tully a beautiful piece, the lighting and depth in every object makes a majestic and realistic impact. You can really see every attention to detail as you look at the castle to the landscape. I even detect the faint hints of smoke from fires within.
What really adds to the drama to the piece, is the angle from which we view the castle with it's towers and turrets looming above. It gives the place power and importance.
Overall this piece is so crystal clear in it's vibrancy and realism that it's worthy of concept art in any production studio. Talented artists can take us into their imagination, and I would say that your work has accomplished that.
Just saw your page. Very impressive work. Where, in reality, might such a place as portrayed in this example be found? There is a small citadel-town in the French alps called Entrevaux that is rather like it. I drive past it occasionally on my way from the UK to my wife's village in northern Italy. As an afficionado of architectural history, one thing that struck me very quickly was the drawbridge portico: it, alone of all the range of buildings in the picture, displays classical, that is to say Palladian, characteristics. Was this intentional?
