I think the overall composition of this piece is effective. And the lighting is dead on. You did a good job on adding atmospheric depth which pulled the mountains and part of the castle back into the distance.

Now I don't really know how you did this, but my guess is that you merge photos together and painted on top of them kind of like a matte painting.

My only critique is that I think there is too much detail in this piece. It's hard for my eyes to focus on one thing. Maybe you can come back in and take away some of the detail out and keep the detail in your main subject. And in this case it could be the man, or the castle.
